Nature

Cannons thunder

Earth sunders

Men cower

Fearsome power

Boys crawl

Mothers bawl

Rats feast

Evil beast

Families weep

Wounds deep

Empty eyes

Smoky skies

Forever scarred

Bodies charred

Souls lost

Endless cost

Questions fly

Ask why

Most of my stuff is inspired by some of the very somber anti-war poems written after WW1. Others can be on a whim or based off fictional works.
