The Nature
...You can think whatever you want, yessir, but it is the nature that lives, it grows and rises...i run to it ...I love it, I cling to it, I climb its trees, I explore its caves, I jump from its cliffs, I love nature...The unseen creatures... The ones I call to readily or search until, suddenly, nature has gone....Grass I love...It glimmers like a precious gem, swaying like the wind...It is thread, a sea, water, a greeting...It is so welcomingthat I want to create the image of each blade in this poem.....To catch them in mid-sway as they tremble beneath my feet, Trap them with my shoe and pluck them, weave them, bright, strong, pulling, rough like the edges of a peach, like the blade of a knife, sharp... I sew them, create them, eat them, taste them, stream them, I let it go...i leave blades on the ground like hair on a scalp...Everything is being due to nature... A breathe goes through much change once it is given life because a single element of nature changes, or perhaps another has taken a sudden new perspective like the point of view inside a living tree was not expecting her command, but it obeys...Nature it has shadows, ghosts, trails, life, death, from so much happenings, misgivings, and beauty...It is so very old now and yet so ver recent and new...It lives everywhere all around us, in plain sight to the naked eye...It is a language that is confounding to our puny minds which we have been given...It has destroyed people, nations, wreaked havoc on villages hunting, searching, finding...It has swallowed up what it has given calling home what it will...Yet we its main creation ignorant and stupid deny its relation...We failed it like our oh so fearsome math test...At the same time it has allowed us to win showing shame as we best it at its own games...It is a continuing cycle that leaves us where we started...With Nature.
