Nature is Awesome

Rushing water and yellow leaves

are sights I see as I ride a two wheeled creature

along a blue snake of a river

Light sparkles and dances off its surface

I feel the wind

as I descend

down steep hills

with my bike skills

Hours pass

and colors blur

I question if I

should keep going

but I know I will

I know I take things fast

but walking is a thing of the past

if this was a race I would not be last

biking is freedom on wheels

Nature brings serenity

water runs untamed and free

I wish it was what I could be

I would grow strong like a tree

I wonder if nature has feelings

do flowers feel joy

when they drink in the sun

what would we do without it
