On the Nature of Beauty

What is the nature of beauty that all wish to answer and question?

Can it be something that's palpable like a fresh rose on dayspring dew,

Or is it something ethereal, confounding us to unsound truths?

On the mixed nature of beauty do crossroads become intertwined's one,

Changing in form and dissolving deep into our minds as an essence.

Beauty, perhaps, is a thought projected onto an object that

Like a framed mirror, reflects our own sentiments back to our own minds.

Keeping this frame of cognition in mind, can the concept of beauty

Ever exist if no one is around to perceive constitution?

Being so, beauty is like a kaleidescope, changing in form and

Focus as people do, making the concept ambiguous indeed,

But in a sense can create a perceptive veracity that turns

One absolute to a flurry of possible, discerning truths.

All of the universe can now become its own beauty with no bounds,

From the most miniscule mass to the Beethoven Frieze, and from physics

To the Kalinka, the nature of beauty has infinite outcomes

As long as there are women and men that can recognize beauty.
