The Nature of My Mind
My mind is a desert,
dry and barren.
Any chance of hope in simply a mirage.
My mind is an ocean,
calm on the surface but crashing waves in the deep end.
My feelings drifting away and drowning.
My mind is a forest.
Loud and occupied with deafening noise.
Sepents slithering through my brain.
Although,
The desert will be given rain.
The tides will calm with time.
The forest will soon quiet.
Peace in my mind will arrive.
