The Nature of Spring

Walking through nature takes me back to my younger years

I feel perfect joy and happiness like on a Christmas Day

I am secured by the many trees that stand tall around me

I feel the wind chill my soul as it sweeps on by

Here, the plants won't harm me

The trees won't condemn me

The stream won't judge me

The flowers will listen to me

I am never alone in nature

My friends are found in the forest

The sun and the sky that criticize me cannot be seen.

I am hidden and shaded by the trees

I can finally breath away from all that noise

I am free of weight

I am home

The spirit of peace overcomes me

I observe bushes lined up all together with many gorgeous flowers growing from them

Red and orange colors are painted on these flowers and butterflies hover over them

The trees are green and mountains can be seen.

My faith has been restored in this mesmerizing Spring
