The Nature Of Yourself

Dear Self,

Who am I?

Am I hooked

Subconsciously

To the inside of my own mind,

An isolated mind

Engaged in the dark and the formless?

I think

Intimately

My thoughts are shaped

By impulses and ignorance

With significance stripped

When learning

Reality is not reality.

The world on the inside,

Dependant on theory

But lacking the reasoning,

Can ask the question

“What quest is not often painful?”

From many experiences we can feel

As though the ground

Has been suddenly

Cut

Out

From under our feet.

But

Use the moment.

See inside your mind.

Study from the nature of the myth, the reality

And the nature of meaning

To make deeper

Your Sense of Self.

Signed,

Self
