Nature's Bond
Futures filled with mysteries,
excitement and plans that could be,
numbering the fish in the seas.
Together we have always been,
travelling down the river, kin,
of the closest bond, twin.
Time spent separated, the dead of winter.
Anxiety for the complete independence to come,
rocked by the waves, we succumb.
Yet the reflecting promises of the sun,
give light to the blooming life that the future will bring,
when life and new adventures are done
where we will thrive in the coming spring.
