A bird soaring high to celebrate her freedom, A boy flying a kite to chase away his boredom, A fragrant flower frolicking in the morning breeze, A lush green hillock shrouded with towering trees. These captured pictures can calm a pulsating heart, Can work wonders to show us light even in the dark. The serenity of nature that envelopes us today, The purity of these elements that we taste every day. The tranquility which soothes us in the dismal times, The ethereal ubiquity of Mother Earth surpassing the endless chimes. World asks for more with each passing day, Like a dutiful mother,nature provides,shrugging her worries away. Rocketing pollution stretches its fingers to smother her, Sputtering and choking in the acrid smoke she ensures our lives don't turn into a blur. She kills herself to grant us life, She walks the extra mile so that our efforts are not futile. She beckons to us as she is slipping away, Don't neglect her pleas but act today.
