Nature's Weakness

Leaves rolling up a downward slope, The mouse eating the cat. Seems so unreal but yet still possible. The end seems so near yet so far away. What are we going to do when everything We've known is lost one day? Hormones raging, fear subsided, while we Stare into the darkness of our lives. Something feels unreal, not right, But we know we can't step into the light. We were born simple but made ourselves Into something we're not meant to be. We make things so complicated When it's not supposed to be. Our weakness is our inner strength, We never know what it truly is Until our own day of reckoning. We either step into the light or stay hidden Forever in the shadows of our unconsciousness.
