Nauti Gulls

The bright white Hull reflects off the calm Dark blue water. The captain boards, clutches The helm and Barks orders at the crew. The sails hoisted Anchor stowed and strong wire Stays secured As thick sheet lines unraveled Boards released Into the depths of the sea Lines neatly Coiled on deck, splintering Wood pilings Provide a push for departure The ship Departs from port And the fresh Whipping Of the summer wind powers The crisp white Sails. Sending “Nauti Gulls” Off into The horizon, in nearly seconds.
