I drink her love in, parched
And blow it out, gentle, like smoke
It flows in rings that surround her face like a frame
As if to say "look!!!" with cautious desparation
I choke on the heat it brings
But it warms my insides
And swallows up the frost that formed
and encapsulated my heart
like an abandoned ship-
not wrecked, just neglected
But now, the warm smoke of he love
has filled my sails;
I have found my course
