Near Death

Near Death

Life
Just flashing before my eyes
As lights of a grey car comes towards me, increasing in size
Head on
The feeling in my body was gone
I was near death

The thought of almost colliding with another car
Hearing a big crash and boom, even from a far
I stopped breathing
I stopped seeing
In shock
Because I was near death

It wouldn't have been my fault, you see
The driver with no sense, who would have taken the chance to flee
Would have been the possible cause of my passing
By the grace of God, I can take another breath
And I thank and praise God 10 times over just because...
I was almost near death
