Near the true blue ocean

I grew with a rowdy crew

I lost lots of aspiration and focal focus of inspiration

I was poisoned by peers which was like a crime of treason

I had no time for books and brooks but for crooks

Hope was gone and my destiny forgone

My faith was tried and my hands were tied

Battles within made me thin without hope to win

I consented to contend with life even for discord

My entire dream was to be the cream of scholars

To be a prolific author with a decent profile in my profession

To be the best human resource manager the world over

And become the best paid CEO the world over

And nurture young people to obey their creator

And remind people they have a life to live

Telling them to believe and never to leave

Their faith in God because it will determine their fate

For God is faithful to the grateful and truthful

God will remain and ascertain to keep His word
