The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman

The soul can tell when it is at home

When it is at peace in a person or place

The soul does not change,

but the home does

People die and places burn to the ground

Such is life

Plan B

Finding a new home is the hardest part

I didn't have a Plan B

You were my home, but now it is unlivable

Now I am lost

I am homeless
