Necessity

Galatians 2:10 New English Translation (NET Bible)

10 They requested only that we remember the poor,

the very thing I also was eager to do

I have to live in this body.

Some way to survive!

Why? I don’t really understand

that physical I should be

For the Spirit to reside,

I can vaguely grasp

but spirits don’t need physical

without it they are free.

Evil thrives on material

and makes “priceless” possessions

for the ones, who love the world

and are soaking in it

So man’s dead spirit

becomes then the ultimate goal

in the survival of a person

where only God can fix it

Alive in the Spirit ... trapped in a body.

The day we are glorified we’ll be free.

Then we will be just like Jesus …

We will be free indeed
