The Necessity of Emotions to Experience Life

My veins are warm

My eyes contain an ocean storm

Laughter spills from my lips

I can see an eclipse

Of emotions

Happy memories in slow motion

Sadness is ringing

The light is dimming

A sensation of crashing

Anger snapping

Bliss in my dreams

Joy bursts through my seams

Ecstasy in the moonlight

Curiosity replaces fright

These things are real

I need to feel

To be alive

To thrive

I can not live without emotion

Otherwise I am nothing but a forsaken notion.
