The Necklace

I know you see me wearing the necklace

it holds a special memory

I know you wonder why i still wear it

and sometimes I wonder too..

but I know when I wear the necklace

a little piece of me comes back to life

and I know i shouldn’t wear the necklace

but it gives me a sense of hope

that I will still live on

like the little sparkle in the necklace.
