Nectarine skies
Photo bullets and ringing knives. You followed my heart, following my pulse rate. My thoughts were so empty. My dreams weren’t true. Only shielding lies of your demeanor. Rhubarb tinted essence. Tapping on doors and gauntness silhouettes. You dragged me down the path of mortal destruction. I can’t
Your wandering eyes follow me home. I sigh. Heave. Cry. Shaken hands skim my shoulders down my collar bone, through the darkness. Your thuds echo with every breath I take. Every breath, you, take. A smile stretches my cheeks but it can’t. I can’t.
You prod and poke at me, strapping me down into the darkness that darkness that darkness that slurps on my body, mingles with the huskiness of my voice the prodding doesn’t stop. I can’t.
Your wandering eyes follow me into the darkness guns at hold, knives hand in hand you take your aim. The doors lock and the prodding won’t stop. The darkness won’t end. Time slips into the endeavor, my heart cracks in two you lick your hungry tongue, crushing against me. I can’t
your wandering eyes follow me with open arms. Legs first. Arms. My cheek bones warped. My screams. So. Mangled. But the cutting, slicing, chopping, mashing, sizzling never ends. The coldness hurts. I can’t.
Your wandering eyes follow my gaze and the huskiness of my voice fades away with the evanescent blur that night. That. One. Night. It couldn’t be stopped. They escort you out. You can’t.
Your wandering eyes hold my’n and you rinse them underneath the tap the cold heats up and the heat cools down plastic men smother me ticking off boxes, piece by piece, yapping into the digital machine flashing light blinds me and dew plasters on my forehead. but the nectarine clouds light up the darkness and that is when I see it.
I just am.
