In need
As I lay on the ground
I wonder why
I didn't stick up for myself
I promised myself this would be the last time
But I guess it wasn't enough
The names hurt
But I don't answer to them
As the blood climbed its way down my clothes
The kids started to laugh even more
Which made me want to cry
I couldn't move a muscle
I've learned never let the enemy see you cry
My body ached
No one wasn't around to help
I became my own motivation and Pushed myself to stand up on my feet
I broke down
I slept there that night
No one really cared where I was
All I knew I couldn't wait for tomorrow
Tomorrow, the same thing happened again ,
And again
Until there wasn't any blood left to accidentally drip
Is there anyone out there to help me
A bloody nose , a busted lips and swollen eyes won't stop them from getting to me ,
Is there anyone out there
I just need friends
