need

He's standing there in

red robes of muscle,

with the wind

flowing through hair and

strong beating heart.

Eyes betray his trust

in me, his person.

He's too cool

he seems to think for me

and cowgirl ways.

Flecks of sunset

in his eyes and hide

seem to make

him noble like a czar

dancing through streets.

Yet with my saddle

comes peace for us both.

Kick and yell

prancing forth, queen and steed

magnificent.

I need his thunder

like he needs my touch

to create

this team tearing up the Earth

racing the wind.
