Need

What do  I NEED?

NEED is a strong word,

Much stronger than

want or wish or desire.

NEED is a force

that can't be stopped.

NEED is a wave

that will not be broken,

cannot be stopped.

NEED is NEED.

What do I NEED?

I NEED love,

to keep from falling apart.

I NEED music,

to inspire my life.

I NEED strength,

to get me through the day.

Most of all,

I NEED to others,

to make life worth living.

What do I NEED?

Maybe the question isn't what do I NEED,

but what do OTHERS NEED?

OTHERS help with my NEEDS,

why shouldn't I do the same?

When I struggle,

OTHERS help me.

When I am sad,

OTHERS cheer me up.

Who helps the OTHERS?

What do I NEED?

I NEED the world to be okay for everyone,

so that no one has to worry about being alone.

Everyone has OTHERS,

and those OTHERS keep us going.

So to answer the question,

I NEED YOU.
