Need

I was always grateful for the things in life.

I had a mom and siblings who cared.

Food in my mouth clothes on my back.

Yet in still the one thing I needed was you.

Always wondering were u went.

Y u never called.

Then years pass by and I hear ur getting married to another woman.

I hear u have a kid that u love.

That you adore.

That your always there for.

Always thought it was me.

Always thought I was never good enough.

Then I realized it was you and not me.

Realized ur not capable of loving me.

Realized I didn’t need u.

All I ever needed was my family.

Not the ones who u say are family.

No.

The one who stuck by me.

Now have a nice life cuz I don’t need u.

All I need is me and my family.
