Need to live
I once thought of free
Being free, living free.
My mind, my body,my heart,
Dreams of being free or for once torn apart.
I want the pain, need to feel broken,
It makes me know I'm real, I'm alive.
It makes me know I'm human, I wasn't just simply woven.
God once showed me how much I needed to survive.
I had drank the bleach, I'd eaten the soap
I tried many things but I couldn't phantom why I was still here,
I wanted to die because my life seemed to be falling down a slippery slope.
God told me that I had something to do, until then I'd have to stay here.
No, family, no love, no one
To tell how much it hurted, how much I wanted to go.
I believed that if I was no one's love, no one's sun
Then I could just disappear and no one would know.
But God told me, I Love You and that's all you need to go on My child,
That's all you need to know.
