Needing Her
You'd wrap your lip under your teeth
Blush to melt the world
Faintly smile and stare through
The soul of your baby girl
Your eyes would light ablaze
When your vinyl played at last
Dimples perfectly molded
Face perfectly cast
Crinkles by your eyes
And the brightest smile I knew
Always laughing while
Praying to pull through
Do you remember me crying by your side
or us dancing to no music at all?
I'll always miss those days we shared
As you help God make the rain fall
