Needle and Thread (Insomnia)

A growl and a sigh

I'm so sick of this.

I long reminisce

Of my closed peaceful eyes,

And the deep calming breath

Slowly lifting my chest.

Just to lay down and rest

Achieved only through death.

There's no hope for me

Give me an escape

My eyes still agape

Awake constantly.

My vision is blurred

My anger is flaring

I'm done with just staring,

And fury has stirred.

I'm in FAR too deep!

I've MADE my decision!

Farewell to my vision!

I'd rather just sleep...
