needs A home
If you asked for the first word
that came into someone’s mind
when they look into mine
and they’re searching for some time
they would never find a sign,
for everything starts to blur.
It’s not my fault, I’m just shy and awkward.
But when I’m bold,
I’d try to analyze them like I know I could
I’d learn how to turn
their doubts to gold;
they’d never fall or fold.
I’d inspire like a snowfall, but I’m never cold.
I still recall how it would feel
to be excluded, left out of the deal.
Friends forget you when you’re down.
I aim to please and to appeal,
help one forget their Achilles’ Heel.
I only breathe so that I’m around
when a lonely soul needs a home,
I’d never make them feel alone.
When a tired soul needs a home,
I’d never make them feel alone.
Whenever a wanderer needs to stop
I easily become the rock
even if I’m falling down
and I feel my throat starting to lock.
I’m defensive for my family ,
and if you think that I’m lonely, then look at me.
I’ve got my friends. Friends are family; that’s all i need.
And I still know that we all have room to grow.
But I am the one who shows care and I’ll be
the one to fly to you and pick you up off your feet. For
when a lonely soul needs a home,
I’d never make them feel alone.
When a lonely soul needs a home,
I’d never make them feel alone.
