The Negative Effects of Animal Testing

There you lie

Infected and bleeding

There you dream

Of a life without suffering

A life without pain

A big white rubber hand reaches in

You’re hoping it’s over

Hoping it is taking you to freedom

But you are put in a smaller cage

Restrained by chains

You fight and kick

You scream, “NO! NO MORE INJECTIONS!”

No, they don’t

See, hear, or feel

Your pain

All they want,

All they care about,

Is the beauty of themselves.
