I sought love and acceptance

I am a college student, a violinist, a volunteer, a full-time worker

I can play a song for you, I will learn any song for you

I can write to you, name a topic that interests you

A good person helps people in need, I do that everyday

Why must you stray away from me father?

I achieved. Thrived.

I sought love and acceptance elsewhere

In the hearts of bodies that abused me

I am a victim, theirs and yours
