For Neilda

Now you are with Jesus,

That brings me so much joy.

But thoughts of you still haunt me,

Although it may be coy.

But when I think of the happy times,

I cannot help but smile.

Now you'll be happy forever,

Not for just a while.

God took his hand to guide you

Each step along the way.

I ask him now to help me

Get through this, this I pray.

I know one day I'll see you

On the shining streets of gold.

You'll be right there to meet me

Your hand stretched out to hold.

So now I will continue

Through this life that is one less,

But I know that I'll be happy

For my life you have blessed.
