Equality is but a dream
When you look at the whole worlds scheme

It turns out some people did know

Heroes like Martin Luther King
Raised his voice to equally sing

His words led to a new movement
Rights for blacks; but the whites said he can't

Heroes arose like Rosa Parks
And were put down because they're "darks"
Neither black nor white
Can figure what's right
Her fight led to a bus boycott
Right's for blacks; but the white's said she can't

These days are long in the past now
And rights are forever allowed
Neither black nor white
Can figure what's right
Money, religion, sex, color
All treatment just like the other
