Nelda

She holds a treasure and it stands right in between her ribs,

although it is not visible;

You can feel each and every beat...

It is a treasure called her heart.

She knows how to use her smile,

Which lights up the skies.

A motherly touch, warmer than the sun

The smell of her perfume is my favorite smell indeed

A beautiful noise she has when she turns on the lamp to read

A person that feels like home

You would never want to leave her side

She is the cause of what we call an ocean tide

She numbs the pain that streams through my body

Her soul is so gentle and true

Mother plays hero and I am the villain stealing her high heel shoe

You say there is nothing more beautiful than the sea

I disagree, what is beautiful stands right in front of me.

I pulled your hair so many times

You still took care of me.

Forgive me for making your heart change colors,

it isn't intentionally

I have made it turn dark blue

I promise to love you for a lifetime

So now I can take care of you.

Mother, you are a flower you bloom every day

You guided me since I could walk on my two feet

You have guided me this whole way.

You turned every bad thing into something good

You made my life shimmer when I just never could.

I thank you and will cherish you until the end of time

Nelda is her name, she is the ocean and all of nature combined.
