Nemesis

Twisted wrong Stepped over upon I glare up to see While on the ground I see myself To be the one Who tortured me all along And I now see What wrong I've done to myself The voice in command is a ruthless Lieutenant Whipping my behind Wounds apparent Scars remnant No, don't add salt to my wounds Forgiveness so precious Such temporary doses A passive shield that looms Before my nemesis Before myself
