Nemesis
Picture before yourself
an entity
like you
yet, not quite you.
In fact, this being is your exact opposite.
Your compliment; your mirror; your reciprocal.
Now realize,
that between the mirror and yourself,
you are the reciprocal,
the negative, inferior entity
staring into the face of what you should be
facing just as well the shame and failure of having unfulfilled the image that lies before you.
Now realize,
That this nemesis,
your mortal enemy,
is your closest friend.
Look neither upon your friend in envy nor yourself in resentment, for this is not true friendship.
