The Neonatal Nurse

My career goal is to be a Neonatal Nurse. I love working with little kids and babies. I'd like to help save lives and make sure the babies are well enough to go home to their parents. Being a neonatal nurse to me means doing something I love doing which is working with babies. Also being able to interact with and helping someone get better and actually changing some one’s life. I'm a senior going high school and I'll be going to college for Registered Nursing and then after I've worked as a RN for a year or two I'd like to move up to the Neonatal job. In high school I took a lot of science classes and also read a lot of nursing books to get familiar with certain things that will be expected. Obstacles that may stand in my way of getting this job would be getting hired in the state I live in. Also making sure I study a lot and attend the best college for nursing. Paying for college may also be an obstacle especially if I want a good nursing school. My family is very supportive they've helped me study for the big things I need to know. My mom and dad have bought me nursing books and exam study books. They've encouraged me to take the best classes in high school that will help me in the future. The help I will need to make this career a reality would be just a good college with nursing courses that would help me go far in my career. In order for me to have this job I'd need my family and friends and also college professors to just be there for me and encourage me to not give up and keep trying.
