nervous

I hold my breath and look around,

others are doing the same and nobody is making a sound,

Inside I feel my heart begin to pound,

I feel like there is something that might be found.

They sweep through us searching us for weapons and luckily i'm clean,

I walk on to my destination,

I don't know what I thought they could have seen,

I look around around at all people swarming in like an infestation.

I quickly go to the room where I am supposed to be at,

I look around seeing where other people sat at before us,

Then comes in some lady who is fat,

Others laugh at her and then she starts to fuss.

Iḿ M, I like reading, writing, cooking, acting, and helping others. Good luck to other poets out there, and never give up on your dreams. No matter how hard it seems.
