I remember crying my eyes out

and being mad at the world.

I remember not talking

and keeping to myself. 

I remember shopping

and eating on Thanksgiving,

with you.

I remember the beautiful smile

and the kind words. 

I remember that one secret you wanted to tell me and no one else. 

Most of all I remember the secret that never left our lips.
