Neurosis

I'm fighting through veils and curtains

and the smoke and mirrors

of my mind.

My fears.

My failure.

Pulling rejection out of tophats

and vanishing self esteem under cloths.

Dragging handkercheifs of debt

from my coat sleeves.

Dematerializing relationships

from inside cabinets.

Deception:

sleight of hand

sleight of mouth -

not for the faint of heart,

nor the feint of mind.
