Never

I have a lot of photographs

but i never got to hear your laugh

though i never got to see

all the things you had to go through

i still cant help these tears that fall

each and every day for you

I never got to say good-bye

I never got to see your eyes

I never got to see what you mighy've mean to me

never even seen you cry

never knew what you were like

and i never got to say that i love you so

I never got to be your friend

i never got to hold your hand

i sit alone in this empty room

trying to see what was never there

i guess I'll never know because

you never lived to see the end

and now i stand in this dark room wondering...

i just keep wondering

why things had to be like this drowning in my unanswered questions

I'll just have to imagine this

the way they might have been

should've been, could've been

would've been

But never will be

I love you Granny R.I.P
