Never
I've never been the prettiest
nor the smartest
I've never really been anything
but i've always tried to be something
anything really
maybe if I were a little more athletic, dad would have wanted to train me instead of Trinety
if only I were a little more interesting Zach would have wanted to talk to me
what if I didn't have that lisp in the second grade, would the older kids make fun of someone else instead
or maybe if i was a little thinner, I could be a little happier
but instead i'm left here crying
wondering why i'm never enough
Maybe if i talked a little less
or smiled a little more
mom wouldn't be so angry all the time
If only I didn't have those blemishes
If only I had the courage
if only
what if
is all I can ever think about
why do I have to sound so depressing
maybe I should switch it up and be a little happier
maybe then people might talk to me instead of running away
Maybe I'm better off not being anything at all
I'm just another lost cause
