Never Again

Forever was the thought

my walls tumbled into dust

leaving my heart vulnerable.

The days flew by with no worries

you had me in the palm of your hand.

Everything I had was put into you

My life was yours

I felt safe, secure

HAPPY...

Lies, deception, rot

evil crept through your veins

infecting slowly taking away who i loved

I waited for you, resting in your palm.

I was there. Committed

You dropped me. I was falling

you selfishly stole my heart

ache...ache...ache

My sole lived with something missing

I gathered my dust and protected

what wasn't there.

I grew cold

the days became endless

the nights grew dreary.

My purpose...gone

I beg and beg just please return it

I am helpless without it

I am helpless without you.
