Never Again

Cute and funny, that's your disguise

You're a man that will NEVER win this prize.

From day one I fell for you,

Not knowing you'd rip my heart in two.

You know, I realize too that flirting is fun,

but I've learned to stop before they fall.

You obviously haven't learned that at all.

We talked, connected, and even had fun

I guess that's when you found it time to run

My age too young, but the same as hers

The hypocrite award? Oh, you've won.

After it ended, you came back

Then number two, she was better than the first

but this was the second time, from my eyes, tears burst

She claimed to be having your baby.

You know that wouldn't have happened with me,

but I'm sure you thanked God she lied

And once again you lead me on,

The third time is not always the charm

This time? I wish you a heart harm

Engaged, I see, but it won't last

She'll come to her senses,

and just like food through the digestive tract, you'll pass

This time I'm done, I finally see

You and I were NEVER meant to be.
