Never Again

Never again will I be stuck 

I will never be in the same place I was a year ago 

I won't re-live the things I've lived

I can't regain time I wish I hadn't wasted

Never again will I be broken

I will never be on my knees begging for something to take the pain away

I won't be the lost child I once was

I can't let myself lose what I've created for myself

Never again will I be lonely

I will never question where I belong or where my home is

I won't be too afraid to make connections to other people

I can't feel alone again when I know I have myself

Never again will I be hateful

I will never let people get to me

I won't set myself up for violence and hatred

I can't continue being so spiteful and aggresive

Never again will I be stuck
