Never alone

You ask me what I love most

as I answer, I am not trying to boast

But the person I could not live without,

never contains any doubt

She is always there,

my troubles are never too much for her to bear

When I find myself feeling sad,

she makes it all seem not that mad

To anyone else she is just a girl,

but to me, she is rarer than a pearl

She is more than a best friend,

it is relationship that will never end

I think of her more as a sister,

and when I am away, I always miss her

When we are together we always have a good time,

even just sitting on the couch is sublime

You can think of us at two parts,

completing a puzzle with two hearts

On the island we will roam,

building a place and making it home

Without her I am incomplete

and the world is less sweet.

When you ask me what I would take

there would be no mistake,

when I say I would take my best friend

Even if this is all for pretend.

She is everything I would need on an island, because together, we can do anything.
