Never Being Seen

Size small

Pretty face

She walks along

Always being looked at,

Never being seen

Backstabbed by others’ jealousy

Wanted by men for her body

She walks along

Always being looked at,

Never being seen

Never being allowed to speak

Never allowed to complain

She walks along

Always being looked at,

Never being seen

Her real story is just beneath that fair skin

Being thin not really a blessing like all perceive,

She loses weight too quickly no matter how much she eats

Yet everyone around her tells her to stop complaining

This girl just wants everyone to see

The parallel problem that exists to the obesity epidemic

She cannot control losing the weight

Just like those who cannot control gaining it

Yet she is still asked whether she eats or not

That is the problem, she cannot fix

She walks along

Always being looked at,

Never being seen
