Never Broken

You can lock me away

In the most desolate cell.

Tell me all the lies in the world

While you beat me swollen.

Cut me open

And watch my insecurities flood out.

Rape my emotions

With your cruel ways.

But you can never break me.

My soul and my will

Are untouchable.

My mind is sheltered,

Hidden from all but me.

So go ahead- do your worst.

But you still can never have me.
