" Never DEAD"
" NEVER DEAD "
by CaneGo-Hines
The past is never dead
The cast of terror dances in our head
The lasting images can never be unread
The thrashing words followed by bloodshed
The lashing vines tread our skin
The dashing of all hope for my kin
The flashing fires hid their sins
The past is never dead
The breaking of skulls like old bread
The raping of saints in haunted sheds
The making of children to endure the same dread
The past is never dead
The snatching of souls of those who fled
The creation of a population who is mentally dead
The deletion of self-worth instead
The past is never dead
The past is bloodly red
The past and it's ugly truths must be said
Over and over again
Until WE WIN
