A Never Ending Circle

Dear Seniors,

As each of us gets ready to graduate,

We think about all the times we wished to leave.

We forget about the memories we made.

We forget about the community around us,

Our friends and family.

Graduating is similar to the tide

Each person is excited for it to leave each day.

Once it leaves, one has more room to play

There is more room to enjoy yourself.

Though in the end, the tide returns.

Is it the sun that brings the tide back?

Or is it the moon that does?

Each graduate thinks that once you graduate,

They will not return.

But as the tide always goes out, it always comes back.

Though no one is certain what brings a graduate home

Whether is be the memories, community, or family,

They seem to always return at the end of the day,

Just as the tide does to the shore.
