The Never-Ending Panic Attack
Life is like the surge of tears on your face.
The feeling of pounding against every inch of your skull,
As if someone is beating a drum to a constant beat.
Labored, uncontrollable breathing that urges your vision to see the night sky,
Even if it is day.
Frantic movements, searching for escapes
As if you are caught in a raging storm.
Earthquake-like movements dominating your muscles.
A blank mind swarming with hectic thoughts and memories.
The feeling of being engulfed with unforeseen panic.
A dull yet sharp pain in your chest,
As if your heart is giving out.
Knees that give out mid-step simply because they simply cannot continue.
Believing you are drowning from an unknown culprit,
For water is miles away.
A mouth as dry as cotton balls and a throat equally parched.
The need to converse, to tell others something is wrong but..
Being unable to produce even the quietest squeak.
The phone ringing, but not answering
Convinced the person on the other side will laugh at the smallest mistake.
Life... is a never-ending panic attack with the inability of compassion.
