Never Erased

Many things can be taken away

But there’s one thing that will always stay

The power of knowledge can stay within

Let my life on a desert island begin.

I can’t take my IPhone or any toys

Besides, who would want that awful, loud noise?

I can’t bring my family or friends there with me

Then a deserted island, it would not be.

A rowboat, or kayak, or ship wouldn’t do

Unless it came with help, mighty fine crew.

I couldn’t have food or water to drink

That would run out real quick, wouldn’t you think?

So I guess that I’ll stick with what I have now

The thing that no one can take, no way, no how.

What I will bring to this faraway place.

is my full up and working knowledge base.
